Coleman Cpx 6 Easy Hanging Led Lantern
Stopped working after a few uses
Useless for camping. The rechargeable battery stopped working after a few trips.
It still runs when physically plugged into the power point… so if you want to use this light inside a powered house then SURE!
I was going to try to buy a replacement battery (because I hate waste) but after reading these other reviews I don't think I'll bother.
Purchased in for $100.

Doesn't work
Bought this product and tested it in store and when I got it home it worked well
Left it in the pantry on charge and when we need it when our power went out we found no matter what we tried it doesn't work
We got ripped off and can't take it back as can't find the receipt
Purchased in at BCF Physical Store for $80.

Lousy product.
Bought a couple of years ago for home use only for when power outages so not much use from it.
Would not recharge after a couple of attempts ...zilch.
Would not work with the 3 D size batteries either. I have no recipt now but will never purchase another Coleman product!
I do not recommend it even though it is now discontinued which is no surprise when I look at similar reviews from other people!
Purchased at Army Disposal Store in Midland WA for $100.

Coleman cpx6
Same as all other reviews. Battery is useless, won't recharge after a few months after purchase. Using the 4 D cell battery alternative is waste of time too, they're so heavy they spontaneously pop the battery cover open. Disappointing, as the spotlight light itself works well.
Purchased in at Getaway Outdoors for $50.

Totally useless!
Exactly the same problems as experienced by other reviewers here.
Within weeks of purchasing it, I took it back to BCF and complained.
After much cajoling, the manager gave me a new replacement battery.
Same problem again and again.
I gave up and threw it in the recycle bin!
Will never buy a Coleman product again.

Disgraceful, Rechargeable batteries (with green light) do not work anymore
What a waste of money. The battery pack lasted about 4-5 charges and then even though the green charged light is on it refuses to work. How do we get a replacement?

CPX6 Coleman rechargeable battery.
Same as the other disastrous reports, It worked a few times and was thereafter non rechargeable. By this time it was out of product defect cover. What a disappointment as the advertised claims it is a camping must have. I rate it as a duck egg score, So don't waste your money. Carefully consider any rechargeable battery items product reviews before ever purchasing again.

Waste of money
Didn't even last one season - battery failed before first use. Looks smart but completely useless. Same fault as all the other reviews. Will take it on our next camping trip so we can sit in the dark around it ;)

The rechargeable battery is disaster.
I bought another rechargeable battery several months ago from Bunnings when the original's failed. Today when I wanted to charge it for my next camping, I find out it's dead. The Light itself is fine. Don't buy ANY Coleman products which use these sort of rechargeable battery.

CPX 6 Rechargeable battery only lasted one season
I think we used it once or twice, next time we took it camping the battery failed. It shows green light when charging but carries no charge at all. Coleman is a well known brand, and for $50 for a new battery pack you would think that they would be better quality.

Battery failure
The unit offers adequate light and is functional as a free standing lantern and as a hanging unit using the included straps. The failure of the unit is the rechargeable battery. The first unit lasted less than 12 months being used monthly for camp lighting. The second purchased battery lasted 8 months at the same usage rate. Very disappointed with a perceived quality brand in the outdoor product field.

Another dud coleman battery
Having bought a few Coleman lanterns as presents with the double removable curved side lights, the main CPX6 batteries and the removable side light batteries all no longer charge. O.K. With D cell pack (as long as removables stay connected) mains plug in but rechargable batteries are a total waste of money. What a waste of money.
